Had a Fun, Festive n Family Christmas!! *smilez*
Christmas!!! It's one of my Favourite festival...*grinz* As usual, my maternal family will always hold a party during xmas... it serves as a family gathering... as everyone is busy during the year... so we will always take the chance of public hols or festive seasons to have a gathering...=) Yesterday, we reached my Grandma hse at ard noon time... Had lunch over there... It's a super big family gathering... I get to see all my
阿姨s，舅舅，舅妈，表弟 & 表妹s...=) I'm the 大表姐 over there... hahah my next cousin she's 11 yrs old younger than me! going to pri 6 next yr... *I'm like so old... heheh I'm the oldest kid but the youngest adult over there...=p* Helped out with 舅妈 in conducting games with the kids...=p In the late afternoon, we had
mini cakes (it's super nice) - my aunt ordered from cold storage one... then a
Swensens's ice cream log cake... yummy!! I also had some
red wine too... *grinz* Had dinner over there ard evening time... n we set off to my 舅妈's company OSIM... to sing KTV!! Yeah!! =)
It's my first time going to the recreation club up in the
OSIM building... they have
Swimming pool, Jaccuzi, Gym, Pool, Billard, KTV, Table Tennis, Tennis, many massengers chairs!!! *grinz* Well... yesterday nite the main focus it's KTV... hence, did not use the rest of the facilities... though i played a bit of pool with my uncle n table tennis with my cousin...=p Had great fun singing yesterday... we also had another
logcake, chocolates, biscuits, chips, red wine... *yummy!!* At ard 12 plus, I went to try the messager chair before we leave at 1am... First time using the OSIM massager chair... tink not used to it... at certain pt in time... I felt like laughing!! Very tinkle-ish!! hahah so funny!! supposed to feel comfortable, isn't it?? felt like a mountain turtle...*oops!* Anyway, I finished the whole cycle of massage.. it's pretty good.. heheh =p Time to leave le... 舅舅 drove us back...=) Had a Great Xmas n Family gathering!! *smilez*

Overjoyed!!! No words can describe the feeling I'm feeling right now... the moment i log onto studentlink to check my results... upon seeing the screen... I burst out crying!!! I Passed every single module that i took!!! I have created the
Milestone which i wanted to for this semester!!! This is the First semester in NTU that i did not 'bao' any modules... To many others, this may not be sthg at all... but to me... who was super demoralised over the past semesters... this is really sthg Special for me... it is the
Best Christmas Present for me this yr...=) I will continue to work hard n keep this gd work up... it's really sthg very encouraging for me... felt so blessed... Thank You God for watching over me... =) I will be looking forward upon receiving the email from OPA about my attachment... Hope I will get a gd company where I can learn new skills there... also with nice colleagues over there... Praying hard... *smilez*
Finally, I got to watch the movie - "
Pride & Prejudice"! Just nw,
Wanchew n me watched it at GV Tampines as it's the only GV cinema which has the show at 7pm... coz both of us are working so can only watched it in the night... plus wkday it's cheaper... so we didn't want to watch it on a wkend...=p The show is Great!! *thumbs up =p* It's my all time favourite classic novel by Jane Austen... n it was my sec 2 literature text... =) Love literature for the whole of my life... my passion for literature will never ever die off... till the day my heart stops beating...=) Love the beautiful language used to epit the scenery, the characters of different societies at different times... the stories give me insights of the behaviour, thinking, practices, values of the people at that time... it's so interesting and set me thinking... Literature is such a delicate piece of art...*smilez*

Hall 12 Seniors Xmas Dinner =)

Martin, Weixiong, Jingwen, Willy, Hweemin, Tzefong, Kangwei, Clemence, TeckTien, Junqiang, Eddie, Richard, ZhiKhai, Yanling n Me... yesterday, we had a xmas dinner at esplanade
Thai Express... Tried another dish...
stick noodles with mushrm n tofu in chicken broth... n had the
sweet glutinious rice with coconut milk n mango!!! yummy!! heheh =p we had a gift exchange session too... i got
Harrods chocolate nut batons... nice!! Love chocolate!! *winkz* n Yanz got the Oceanus Giftset that i bought from BodyShop...=p After dinner, we walked down to boat quay area to look for a place to chill out...n we chose
coffee bean...=) Had a great time chatting n drinking my
caffe mocha... with interesting topics which varies from general knowledge to issues to thoughts of people... Love to be involved in such conversations... which will set me thinking n learning...=) Had a Great time last night...*smilez*
Initially, some of them suggested to go for midnight sale which will be held at suntec n citylink... the main concern it's mainly the transport to go hm... yanz n me called hm to ask for permission... as long as it's safe n have company to go hm, my mum it's okie... well... our fren will be able to drive us hm but i'm really not
gian abt the midnight sale... coz such sales will bound to attract loads of pple... but it's so difficult to fish out sthg to buy as it will be super crowded... so intend to give it a miss... though there may be really gd bargains out there...
Personally, i prefer those sales that are not announced to the whole world kind... those i happen to come across while shopping n got gd deals one... as long as it suits me n it's a gd deal... I'm already very happy!! Don't have to go fight with others during those midnight sales with loads of pple kind... Just dun like that kind of feeling to 'fight' with others... In the end... none of us gals went for the midnight sale... n it's a few of the guys who went...heheh =p
Looking forward to my council xmas dinner on the 30th... *santa claus is coming to town! =p*
"Precious Moments" Flashback 。。。
Met up with my JC classmates after work for dinner... it's been near to half a yr since we last met up... Today, it's a mini gathering with only 6 of us -
Yanshan, Xiuwen, Karen, Shineng, Duanneng n me... Had our dinner at
Manhattan Fish Market at Plaza Singapura... The other 3 gals suggested it as they want to try the food in there... and since all of us have not tried before... we decided to have this for dinner... The food served here is very much like those served in Fish n Co... specialising in American/Mediterranean western style seafood... =p Duanneng n me ordered Seafood platter for 2 to share... intending to make comparison with the one served at fish n co... *grinz* The place is quite noisy actually as there are many pple eating... maybe it's due to fri night ba... so it did not give me a cosy feeling at all...*minus pt for ambience... oops!* perhaps will be better on wkdays...=p As for the service there... hmm... about the same as fish n co.? can't really tell the difference... well... there's always rm for improvement... *winkz* As for the food... it's not bad too...各有千秋... just the way they cook it's slightly different... the oysters are fried ones... the rice dun haf raisins... different from fish n co... generally it's more of own personal preference ba... as to which one is nicer... I love the prawns here more than those at fish n co... heheh =p Conclusion... it's definitely worth trying... a different taste to the usual seafood platter at fish n co. and u can taste it for yourself...=)
Finished our dinner at around 8plus... n while enjoying our dinner... we suddenly remembered that the 9pm show will be showing the last episode tonight... n none of us will be recording it... hence, we thought of places which will have tv screening inside, so that we can catch the show! =p hahah so funny!! Didn't expect us to do that just for a show... hahah As a result, we walked to
Meridien Foodcourt at somerset to catch the last episode...=) After the show, had a nice chit chat session catching up with one another...*smilez*
Time flies... it's so long ever since we graduated from JC... Recalled some memories in JC... be it taxing, stressful, rewarding, happy or sad... they are all

parkway parade to walk walk... Nearing to dinner time, as we looked through the directory to decide what to have for dinner... had a sudden crave for seafood platter for two when i saw the name "
Fish n Co"... hence we went to Fish n Co. since both of us have not eaten that for quite some time le... =) Before we order that for dinner, we are wondering if we could finish the seafood platter or not *2 gals eating

gian n we went ahead with our order... At the end of our dinner, it's really shocking... we actually could finish the whole seafood platter in less than 45 mins!! n only left with some rice which we really couldnt stuff them into our tummy anymore le... super full... *bloated* Had a sumptuous dinner...yummy!! =)
Had a relaxed n fun wkend... recharged for the coming wk... 6 days of work coming up... endure!! hahah okie got to slp le... have to wake up early for work later... gd nite my frens...=) *took a blothing test before i slp =p*

Today is the sneak preview of
Pride and Prejudice... and i din managed to watch it at GV Marina... as currently i'm quite broke le... cannot anyhow spend money on my 'wants', can only spend money on my 'needs'... most of the time i'm practising it... only spend on 'needs' n not 'wants'... sometimes i do hope that i'm not financially independent...* i don't have a choice, do i? hmmz...* as it can be really tiring mentally, emotionally n physically... haiz... *feeling down =( * muz be my past life did a lot of bad doings... so nw i'm not so lucky like my friends... do 羡慕 others at times... dun have so much worries... though i know everyone defintely haf their own share of problems... juz that sometimes i do 羡慕 them... so my dear friends... muz learn to treasure & cherish what u have in life... muz really 惜福... so me doing my best to play my role well in this present life and be good, so that my next life will be good n dun haf to suffer as much ba... *perhaps some may tink i too superstitious le...but i do believe in reincarnation* anyway, i shall not grumble le... dun wan to spoil the mood of any of my friends...=)
Looking forward to get my paycheck... but think not so soon... so far only worked for 1 wk plus near to 2 wks le... still surviving hahaha *with so little slp heheh =p* Everyday is so busy... with endless calls coming in... dealing with all sorts of customers' complaints, requests, queries... not only that, all of us there muz learn to be like an
Octopus ah!! There's neverending stuffs to do n to complete... so muz be like the octopus got lotsa hands n do everything!! hahah =p As a result of all the neverending errands, time passed real fast... n the brain have no room for me to slack n stone n 胡思乱想... =)

Rest Day 。。。
Had a tiring and busy wk... finally got to rest at hm on sun... feeling so grateful... heheh =) Time passed real fast... esp while working... 转眼间 worked for 1 n half wks le... Yesterday after work, met up with
Wanchew at Bugis to have lunch and shopping! Had KFC for lunch... long time nv eat KFC le... then got this promotion combo meal... $4.95 which includes a mushrm burger, a drumstick, whipped potato, coleslaw n coke... basically it's like a Happy Meal!! it has all the "招牌菜" from KFC heheh =p *smilez* After lunch, we started our window shopping! =p looking ard to see what i can get for the xmas present exchange for the annual council xmas dinner... saw lotsa nice gifts ard... heheh but haven decide what to get yet... shall see more first... coz haf to get unisex gift =p Ard 6pm, i headed hm for dinner...=p
Had a gd nite rest last night... dun have to wake up at 650am this morning... finally can sleep all i want like a piggy!! =p Today is my Rest Day!! *grinz* going to be a coach potato the whole night... got to rest well... tml will be the start of another busy wk le...
