Birthday Celebration!! =p

Today, we - Jieming, Kelvin, Jarren, Ivy, Juana, Song Kwang celebrated Yanling's Birthday!! *smilez* In the afternoon, we met to sing Kbox at Marina Square... We had Kenny Roger's for dinner... We arranged for the Swensens's mango icecream cake to appear after our dinner... heheh After dinner, we went to MakanSutra to sit down to eat n talk... though most of us were super full after the dinner at Kenny... We also bought her Suntec City vouchers as her Birthday Gift... *beamz*

For dinner, I tried the BBQ chicken pita set... with macaroni cheese and corn nibblets as my side dishes and the all-time fav Corn Muffin!! hahah =p Had Snapple Summer Peach as well for my drink...I was really so full that I could see my tummy popping out!! *omg!! =(* Further more with the icecream cake... hahah almost so hard to walk out of that restaurant after eating all of them... So full!! hahah

I realised 。。。

Suddenly, I felt so down after playing badminton today... coz I realised that I actually have been playing wrongly all the while... ever since i get to know about this game though it's just for recreation...*sobz* Some may think what's the big deal abt it... coz can learn again mah... just correct my mistake and practise... yah... but duno y I took it so hard on myself...=( This incident just made me think a lot... One could have been doing sthg all the while and always believe that it is right and true the whole life... n if suddenly came to realise that it could be wrong... or one could have thought that things are like this all this while... and suddenly came to realise that things could have not been the way one perceived n viewed from the start... or one could... haiz... i guess i think too much into just one incident le ba... but it seems so scary... n can really make one feel super demoralised n lost n confused after discovering the truth or fact...*shrugs* It's so unusual for me to feel so down out of a sudden... coz usually i dun have mood swings de.... but now just feel so down out of a sudden...=( *no words can really describe what i'm thinking n feeling now...haiz*

First Meeting with my FYP Tutor 。。。=)

Finally, I met my FYP Tutor le...=) Previously I was thinking it may be too early to find him, so in June I did not email him after the allocation was out... Then on Mon, I emailed him and we are meeting on Fri 2pm, which is today...*smilez* The session was around half an hr, quite short actually... Well, it's only the first meeting that's why ba heheh =p By the way, there's a slight change in my project... However, it's still using artificial neural networks to analyse the data... Just that the data it's no longer groundwater level forecasting... now it's on rainfall and surface-runoff... Hence, he wanted me to read up on hydrology from one book which he recommended and he sent me one research paper to read up...=) He will then slowly tell me more about my project on our next meeting, which is 2 weeks' time from now... as next week I had special term exam...=p Generally, I feel happy as i'm starting on my FYP le... n also can feel the guidance my tutor rendered... so i'm not so lost... heheh Hope everything goes well for my FYP...*praying...=p*

After the meeting, I went to print out the research paper and also the book... Then, I stayed in sch to officially start studying for my upcoming exam!! But, my progress is rather slow... got to Jiayou ah!! hahah I'm actually distracted by a book - The Road Less Travelled... Have been reading it when I'm free ever since I bought it on Wed...*grinz* Still reading on the First Chapter on Discipline... n so I must study for exam hahah n not reading the book... Practising "Delaying Gratification" hahah, a techinique mentioned in the book...=p Well, so far I find the book addictive ah!! I want to complete it asap leh... but now no time... got exam to study!! Oops!! See how lah.... when I'm taking break from studying... think I'll be reading it hahah Actually, that's what I was doing in sch today... Studying for exam and Reading the book... Oops!! hahah =p

Well, stayed in sch till around 630pm... then went to have dinner at Jurong Point and bought a pair of black flats/sandals at $15.90... I eyed for it very long le... about a mth le... it was to replace the other flats i had which i wore to sch for the last 2 or 3 sems... the friction of the sole it's no longer there... there's a few times i almost slipped n fell... so it's time to get a pair to replace it le... So, just now i went to get it since sch going to start soon... and if it's still there i will just get it... since so far no other flats caught my eye for the whole mth... so this pair 跟我有缘... *beamz*

After dinner, I travelled home to put down my stuffs... as i'm going for supper at Chomp Chomp with my council frens - Jieming, Kelvin n Jarren... Me quite long nv eat the stingray there le... yummy!! Plus the sugarcane drink!! =p Thanks Kelvin for driving all of us home...=)

Unexpected Discovery!! *grinz*

Went to Kinokuniya to get a book - The Road Less Travelled... Got to know this book through a friend...=) I did some search on the web and managed to look through the table of contents and the first few pages at Amazon website... Seriously, i think that it's a good book to buy and it's not too ex $19.9o... after 10% discount around $17/-, so i bought the book...=p Besides this, I discovered something in Kinokuniya... Monokuro Boo!! hahah it's 1 black n 1 white piggy!! Finally, there's cute piggy items le!! heheh Very Cute wor!! *beamz* Monokuro Boo shall be added to my favourite list...=p

Then, I poped by Taka CK to visit Weiling at work and meet her up for dinner after she knocked off...*smilez* Great catching up with her...=) Take care gal and Good Luck for your selection of FYP!! =p

Last Day of Work 。。。

Ended my last day of work at my IA company on 17th July... As next thurs will be my special term examinations le... Really hard to continue to work n help out... I need to start studying for my paper, no doubt it's only one module... but still this module seems like quite demanding in terms of content and workload... Lotsa reading up to do le... Got to jiayou for it!!

Did 觉得依依不舍... as I had been working there since 16th Jan... My colleagues are very nice... n I learnt a lot during my stay over there... It has been a rewarding n fulfilling working experience over there... Learn about what a civil engineer does in a consultancy firm... Really opened my eyes to see what is the jobscope of an enginner like in the industry...*smilez*

D.I.Y. - Dye Hair =p

Today, as i was buying my hair conditioner from Watsons over at my house here... was looking around in the shop... n i thought of dyeing my hair again... heheh The First time that i dyed my hair was the time dyeing for chinese new year this year, but it did not turn out well... as my hair still looked black...-_-" That time i used Dark Red Brown... which is the colour i wanted on my hair n it is shown on the model on the box...=) Oh well... nothing happen to my hair colour... unless my hair is seen under special lighting, then can see a bit of colour hahah

Hence, today i bought the Light Red Brown le... Hoping that my hair will absorb the colour and show it as Dark Red Brown... since the other time turned out to be Black hair still...=( Once, i reached home, D.I.Y. starts!! hahah Hurray!! Finally, i can see some colour le...*beamz* Though, it's still not very obvious i guess... perhaps I shall wait and see... heheh =p

Jogging n Badminton!! *beamz*

So happy today!! Played my all-time fav sport... have been a long time since i last did it...*grinz*

Actually, it was a very impromtu session... I was having my special term lessons as usual on every Wed n Thurs... then today, the class ended early... I reached hm at ard 430pm... Suddenly, i felt it was very early... n the weather was cooling... then i had a sudden urge to go jogging!! Hence, I rang Bijin up to see if she's at home... n if she's free to go out for a jog... *that day we were talking about going jogging n badminton together someday while we were cycling...* Yeah!! She's free!! Then, we met up near her hse... SRJC bus-stop... n we went to jog on the track in SRJC... We did our warm up first before we start... We decided to just jog 2 rounds (800m) as we have not been jogging for a long time...hahah We shall slowly increase our distance next time =). One day, we must go join those long distance run...*grinz*

After our jog, we did some cool down exercise... Then, we carried on with badminton!! Yeah!! My favourite sport ever since primary sch!! I can still remember those times when I played badminton in pri sch on sat after my eca...*smilez* Around 7plus, we headed home to bathe and have our dinner at home...=) Really felt so refreshed after exercising!! n after all the perspiring hahah

Celebration!! =p

After my lesson in NTU, travelled down to Orchard to meet up with my council frens - Birthday gal Ivy, SongKwang, Jarren, Jieming, Kelvin, DuanNeng, Yanjing n Yanling... We are celebrating Ivy's birthday!! =p We had our dinner at a Japanese Restaurant in a tatami room over at Tanglin Shopping Centre...*smilez* The food there is very good... we ordered various ala carte to share...*yummy!! =p* Had a long n tiring day... okie got to slp le... tml have to wake up early to go sch for lesson... nitez! =)

A Date with the Sun and the Sea!! *beamz*

Today, Bijin & me went cycling at East Coast Park!! *beamz* Finally, we went as last few wkends had been rainy, so we postponed our trip till today... We cycled from ard 4pm to 7pm... So fun!! We cycled past the cable-ski park, bedok jetty, national sailing centre and way up... Also, we took many photos...=p We also bought ice-cream waffle from the ice-cream van... I'm feeling so 幸福 when eating my choco-chip waffle ice-cream!! *yummy!!!* So happy!! Long time nv eat such ice-cream le... heheh *no words can describe my 幸福ness in eating that ice-cream...=p* Btw, 3 hrs of cycling is no joke ah... esp when both of us have not been exercising...oops!! hahah We agreed to go jogging someday... long time nv train le... think my 2.4km wun be as good as last time le... Looking forward to our jogging sessions!! =p Yeah!! Bijin not only will be my cycling kaki... you will become my jogging buddy soon... followed by badminton buddy too...*smilez* After cycling, we walked to Parkway Parade to shop ard and have our dinner...=)
